About My Life Films
We are a UK-registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by dementia.
We are passionate about the power of film and television to bring people deep connection, wide-ranging stimulation, and moments of pure joy. We know however that people living with dementia are often excluded from, and even distressed by, many mainstream television programmes - the plots might be too complex, the music, too loud.
Through our on-demand streaming service, My Life TV, we offer dementia-friendly television to thousands of people at home and in care across the UK every year - improving mood, reducing anxiety, and providing vital respite for carers at home, and enjoyable and stimulating group activities for care staff in settings.
We are now expanding our reach - and increasing the volume of high-quality content that we produce and launch onto our platform through the year.

You will also work closely with our Head of Content to ensure the films we produce are of the highest quality and impact.
Who we are looking for
- Filmmakers with strong shooting and editing skills
- Experience working with vulnerable contributors and/or in sensitive contexts
- A thoughtful, empathetic, and professional approach to storytelling
- Creativity, flexibility, and strong communication skills
- Good interviewing skills
